RICHMOND, Va. – VCU Lacrosse has announced its 2023 schedule that features nine home games, including games against in-state ACC foes Virginia and Virginia Tech. VCU will also host the Atlantic 10 Women's Lacrosse Championship for the first time in program history.

The Rams' 17-game slate also features games against seven in-state schools, both non-conference and in A-10Â play.
VCU enters its second season under head coach Nicole Flores and returns 12 of the top 13 scorers from a season ago as well as well as 26 student-athletes that appeared in at least two games. Also back is goalkeeper
Meghna Dawar who ranked seventh nationally in save percentage.

The Black and Gold open the season at home on Feb. 11 by hosting Virginia Tech at Cary Street Field. Including the game against the Hokies, three of the first four games of the season for VCU are at home including dates against ODU (Feb. 15), at Elon (Noon) and Radford (4 p.m.).

The Rams then have a three-game road swing with contests at Liberty (Feb. 25), at William & Mary (March 1) and at Coastal Carolina (March 4).

VCU returns home to open Atlantic 10 play against St. Bonaventure (March 11) before heading to crosstown rival Richmond (March 18). The Rams then play Davidson (March 22) at home followed by a pair of road games at La Sale (March 25) and Duquesne (April 1).

The Rams then play host to Virginia (April 5), George Washington (April 8) and UMass (April 15) in a three-game homestand.

VCU closes out the regular season with a game at George Mason (April 22) and a home match against Saint Joseph's (April 29).
The A-10 Championship will be held at Cary Street Field May 4-7.
