The Short Story: VCU tied the game at 1-1 with a goal from Lynea Gregory in the 57th minute but a late penalty stroke goal lifted the Demon Deacons over the Rams.

  • VCU was only outshot 5-3 in the second half as the Rams fought hard to stay in the contest
  • Gregory tied the game 1-1 in the with 3:51 left on the clock in the fourth quarter
  • Wake Forest got a penalty stroke awarded in the 59th minute, with just 1:31 left in the game and Sky Caron converted to give the Demon Deacons the win.
