- Freshman Kialah Jefferson continued her breakout freshman campaign for the Rams with 11 kills and nine digs on Friday
- Junior middle blocker Sabria Cooper added eight kills and four digs for the Black & Gold, while freshman libero Crew Hoffmeier contributed 16 digs
- Khori Louis led a balanced Seminoles attack with nine kills and four blocks
THE DIFFERENCE
- Florida State piled up 12 blocks and VCU struggled to get going offensively. The Rams hit .163 in the match, including .023 in the second set
- VCU was held without a block
