Qairo Bentley spiked 11 kills for VCU, but fourth-ranked Ohio State proved to be too much for the upstart Rams Saturday at the Siegel Center.

- Bentley hit .300 on the day and committed just two errors in 30 attempts. She added seven digs
- Freshman outside hitter Parker Hartzell hit .364 with five kills for the Black and Gold, while sophomore middle blocker Jasmine Knight provided five kills and three blocks to the VCU effort
- Sophomore libero Crew Hoffmeier supplied 11 digs for the Rams
- Gabby Gonzales paced the Buckeyes with 16 kills, while hitting .433Â

- Ohio State hit .306 in the match
- The Buckeyes owned a 39-37 advantage in digs, an 8-4 margin in blocks and a 4-1 edge in service aces
- VCU hit .223 on the day, but it wasn't enough to slow down OSU, which hit .407 in the first set and .472 in the second
