The Short Story:Â VCU Men's Tennis claimed its fourth straight Atlantic 10 title with a 4-0 sweep of crosstown-rival Richmond Sunday afternoon at the United States Tennis Association's Nation Campus.
OPENING SERVE
- The doubles pairing of senior Quentin Coulaud and junior Charles Bertimon opened the match with a 6-2 win on court three
- Sophomores Lleyton Cronje and David Cierny clinched the doubles point with a 6-3 win on court one
- Senior Inigo Torre Martin began singles play with a 6-1, 6-1 straight-set victory on court three
- Cronje extended the Rams' advantage with a 6-1, 6-3 straight-set win on court one
- Junior Rayane Stable clinched the title for VCU with a 6-4, 6-2 victory on court four
