OPENING SERVE
- Trailing 1-0, the pairing of senior Quentin Coulaud and junior Charles Bertimon tied doubles competition with a 6-4 victory on court two
- The Rams' 66th-ranked pairing of senior Inigo Torre Martin and junior Rayane Stable clinched the point with a 7-6 win over the 52nd-ranked pairing of sophomores Luca Maldoner and Nicola Vidal on court one. The duo will enter the Atlantic 10 Tournament with a 9-2 record
- After the Monarchs opened singles play with a victory on court five, senior Timo Zgraggen responded with a 7-5, 6-2 straight-set win on court six. Zgraggen improved to 7-1 in singles competition this season with the victory
- Stable pushed the VCU advantage to 3-1 with a 6-3, 3-6, 6-1 win on court four
- After dropping the first set, Bertimon stormed back to secure the match victory for the Rams with a 5-7, 7-5, 6-0 win on court two
