OPENING SERVE

• Sophomores Lleyton Cronje and David Cierny opened doubles competition with a 6-4 win on court one
• Senior Quentin Coulaud and junior Charles Bertimon earned the doubles point with a 6-4 victory on court three
• The 66th-ranked pairing of senior Inigo Torre Martin and junior Rayane Stable were leading 5-3 against the 75th-ranked duo of graduate Lev Kazakov and senior Sebastian Quiros when the Rams took the point
• In singles play, Torre Martin extended the VCU advantage with a 6-2, 6-1 straight-set win on court three
• Stable followed with a 6-2, 6-2 straight-set victory on court four
• Senior Timo Zgraggen clinched the match victory, notching a 6-3, 6-3 straight-set win on court six
• 79th-ranked Cronje closed out the competition with a 6-4, 5-7, 1-0 (7) victory on court one
