RICHMOND, Va. – VCU Women's Soccer will continue its 2020-21 campaign on Thursday when it welcomes George Washington to Sports Backers Stadium for a 7 p.m. match.

The Rams sit atop the Atlantic-10 South Division standings while the Colonials occupy the third position.

VCU traveled to Washington, D.C. and earned a 2-1 victory over George Washington last Thursday.

The Rams' offense has been headlined by the play of redshirt-junior
Samantha Jerabek who leads the A-10 with seven goals this season.

Redshirt-junior midfielder
Emma Kershner has provided significant contribution with three goals and a team-high four assists. The redshirt junior netted two goals, including the game winner, in a win over Davidson on Tuesday.

Lana Golob led the Rams' backline last week. The VCU defense surrendered just one goal in the pair of victories. Golob also chipped in on the offense side, scoring the game-winning goal against the Colonials on Thursday.

George Washington enters the match at 5-3-2. Senior midfielder Natalie Silberman has paced the Colonial's offense through 11 games. Silberman has scored a team-high six goals including three game winners.

Thursday's game will mark the 12th meeting between the two programs. VCU leads the series 6-3-2.

Sports Backers Stadium will be operating at reduced capacity. A maximum of 250 fans will be allowed in attendance.
