WOMEN'S SOCCER SET FOR TUESDAY MATCH AGAINST DAVIDSON

RICHMOND Va. – VCU Women's Soccer returns to the pitch on Tuesday for a conference showdown with Davidson at Sports Backers Stadium. The match is scheduled for 5 p.m. and will be available for live stream on ESPN+.
 
VCU is 3-3-1 on the season following a 2-1 loss to George Mason on Sunday. Through seven games, the Rams are in third place in the Atlantic 10 south division standings. 
 
Redshirt-junior Samantha Jerabek has spearheaded the VCU offensive attack this season. Jerabek has netted six of the Rams' 13 goals. As a team, VCU is currently averaging 1.8 goals per game, third-most in the A-10.
 
Davidson enters Tuesday's match at 4-2-1 following a 1-0 overtime loss to George Washington on Sunday. The Wildcats are led by sophomore forward Hailey Braemer who has scored two goals and tallied a team-high four assists.
 
VCU is undefeated in the last six meetings between the two programs with a 5-0-1 record.
 
Sports Backers Stadium will be at reduced capacity. A maximum of 250 spectators are allowed in attendance.
