Samantha Jerabek goal in the 81
st minute evened the scoring as VCU Women's Soccer battled William & Mary to a 1-1 draw Friday night at Sports Backers Stadium.

HOW IT HAPPENED
- Trailing by a goal in the 81st minute, junior Lana Golob fired a long-range shot from just across midfield. The Tribe's junior goalkeeper Zoe Doughty deflected the ball into the center of the box and Jerabek placed it in the bottom-left corner.
- VCU put pressure on the William & Mary back line throughout the entirety of the first half. The Rams had several chances but were ultimately unable to find the back of the net.
- In the 12th minute, redshirt-junior Emma Kershner struck a corner that missed Doughty's outstretched arms and connected with the crossbar, narrowly missing the goal.
- Jerabek had the Rams final chance in the 108th minute. The redshirt junior sidestepped a William & Mary defender in the box and blasted a shot that went just wide of the goal.
