The short story: VCU held Richmond to a season-low 56 points, while sophomore guard Bones Hyland recorded his second career double-double to lead the Rams past their crosstown rival in the 86^th Richmond Area Honda Dealers Capital City Classic Wednesday night at the Siegel Center.
 
OPENING TIP

• Hyland finished with 20 points and corralled 12 rebounds, as well as six assist
• Freshman forward Jamir Watkins tallied 10 points, dished out three assists and grabbed three rebounds in the win
