- Bentley hit .476 on 21 swings for VCU. She committed just two errors and added two blocks on the evening
- Freshman middle Jasmine Knight hit 429 with seven kills and six blocks for the Black and Gold
- Freshman Kylie Loftis also supplied 10 kills and hit .474 for the Rams
- Morgan Kelly paced Duquesne with 11 kills
THE DIFFERENCE
- VCU was again dominant at the net. The Rams, who entered the match sixth in the country in blocking, outblocked the Dukes 10-4
