The Short Story: Going into the final match tied 3-3, Timo Zgraggen displayed his veteran presence as he stepped up to grab the win for the Rams to kick off the weekend road stretch.
OPENING SERVE
- After winning the first set 6-2, Timo Zgraggen dropped the second set 4-6. In a winner-take-all third set, Zgraggen stepped up to defeat Ian Sturgill 6-3. Zgraggen has won three straight matches improving to 3-1 in No. 6 singles.
- Sophomore Rayane Stable garnered his second straight victory and improved to 3-0 in No. 4 singles after defeating Goncalo Ferreira of Liberty 6-4, 6-2.
- Charles Bertimon remained sensational winning his third straight match and improving to 3-1 in No. 2 singles after cruising past Josh Wilson 6-3, 7-5.
- After dropping the first set 4-6, Lleyton Cronje prevailed in the final two sets to defeat Nicaise Muamba 6-2, 6-2.
