The short story: VCU bulldozed its way to a 10th consecutive win behind one of its most complete performances of the season Friday night in Pittsburgh, Pa.
OPENING VOLLEY
- Senior opposite Gina Tuzzolo (Newport News, Va.) blasted 11 kills and hit .409 to pace a VCU offense that clicked on all cylinders against the Dukes. She also provided three blocks
- Senior middle blocker Jasmin Sneed (San Antonio, Texas) hit .615 and provided nine kills on 13 swings. She added three service aces and a pair of blocks
- VCU senior outside hitter Vicki Giommarini (Rome, Italy) supplied eight kills, seven digs, three aces, and two blocks, while senior setter Dajah Ard (Arlington, Texas) helped keep the offense humming with 24 assists
- Maria Mosbacher led Duquesne with eight kills

- VCU hit .375 in the match and committed just nine hitting errors on the night
