OPENING SERVE
- Sophomore Javier Amantegui and junior Arvid Noren opened the day with a victory at No. 2 doubles, their team-leading ninth of the season, over John and Justin Nogalski 6-3.
- Freshman duo Inigo Torre Martin and Timo Zgraggen clinched the doubles point with a 6-2 win over Oscar Pachon and Kenji Yanaba.
- Torre Martin and Zgraggen then extended the lead to 3-0 with straight set victories at No. 4 and 5 singles, dropping just three games between them. Torre Martin topped Pachon 6-1, 6-0, and Zgraggen topped Justin Nogalski 6-0, 6-2.
- Amantegui wrapped up the match for VCU with a 6-0, 6-4 win over John Nogalski at No. 2 singles, his team-leading 12th win of the year.
