OPENING SERVE
- The Phoenix jumped out to a 1-0 lead by taking the doubles point with victories on courts 1 and 2.
- Elon extended their lead to 3-0 with straight-set victories at No. 1 and No. 2 singles.
- Torre Martin led the rally at the bottom of the lineup with a 6-0, 7-6 victory over Camilo Ponce at No. 5 singles. The Bilbao, Spain product is second on the team in singles wins this season with 12.
- Juniors Arvid Noren and Philip Mobius and sophomore Igancio Rivero Crespo all battled to force third sets, but ultimately fell on No. 3, No. 4 and No. 6 singles, respectively.
