The short story: Freshman Javier Amantegui and sophomore Arvid Noren collected singles win in a late push, but the Rams fell to Binghamton at home on Friday afternoon at the Thalhimer Tennis Center. Amantegui is now 14-6 overall in singles play this year.
FIRST SERVE
- Noren continues to dominate in singles play. In consecutive sets, he defeated Binghamton's Valentin Bouchet, 7-6 (4), 6-0. He is now 7-1 in dual matches this season.
- Seniors Daryl Monfils and Marten Jonsson contributed a point for the Rams with a win in doubles play. The pair downed Ludovico Cestarollo and Inigo Saez, 6-4 on the first court. The duo is now holds an overall doubles record of 7-3.
- Amantegui and Noren also collected a win on the doubles court. They dominated Tiago Lourenco and Vihar Shah, 6-0.
