  • The Short Story: Freshman Antonio Batlle Rodriguez rallied in the third set at fifth singles to lead the VCU men's tennis team to a thrilling 4-3 victory over 41st-ranked Penn State on Saturday. Batlle Rodriguez rallied back from 5-2 in the third set, winning, 6-3, 3-6, 7-6 (2) to secure the match for the Black & Gold. Senior Michal Voscek and sophomores Wilder Pimentel and Catalin Fifea also picked up wins on the afternoon.
