The Basics

• Score: VCU 0, Richmond 0 (2OT) 
• Records: VCU (6-4-4), UR (8-5-2) 
• The Short Story: VCU had plenty of chances to put one in the net, but ultimately ended the night locked in a 0-0 tie with Richmond. 

How it Happened:

• The biggest chance of the night came when the Spiders were awarded a penalty shot early in the second half, but it was rocketed off of the crossbar to keep the game scoreless. 
• Each team ended the night with three shots on goal, but VCU did tally more total shots, 16-13. The Rams were the only team to record a shot on goal after regulation ended.
• For goalkeeper Emma Kruse and her defense this was the seventh clean sheet of the season.

We created some great opportunities and just needed to do a better job with the final product. I thought our back four and Emma were very solid once again and deserved the clean sheet.
