- Friday's victory gives the Rams 20 for the third time under Head Coach James Finley (2005, 2009). It's the ninth 20-win season in program history.
- VCU was out-blocked in the match 7-5. It's just the third time this year the Rams have trailed in that category.

- Boyd surpassed 1,200 career kills in the win. She is just the second player in school history to reach the 1,200-kill plateau.
