NORFOLK, Va. -March Madness isn't limited to the basketball court; the men's tennis team is enjoying a win streak of their own. With two wins this weekend, the Ram's have extended their stretch to include 11 victories.
The squad took on Delaware in a neutral site match at Old Dominion on Saturday. They dominated the Blue Hens in a 7-0 decision.
While all players emerged with a W, the rally was led by senior, and first-seed, Tim Johannsen. Johannsen defeated Delaware's Courtney Scott, 6-2, 6-0. He then went on to win doubles at the number two spot with his partner, freshman Antoine Baroz, in an 8-4 decision against Chomette and Fahoum.
The Rams stayed in Norfolk for the weekend and took the court Sunday against Old Dominion.
