Rams Run Strong Race in Last Meet Before Atlantic 10 Championships


EVENT: CNU Invite (Newport News, Va.)


  • In the final tune up before the Atlantic 10 Championship, the VCU Women's Cross Country team ran a strong race, and placed 10th at the CNU Invite.
  • The Rams were paced junior Erin Geraghty who ran a 24:18 on her way to a 21st place finish in the 6K race.
  • Freshman Lindsey Bradshaw continued her strong rookie campaign. Bradshaw finished in 36th place and ran a 24:44
  • Rounding out the Rams in the top 50 were freshman Brianna Krumholz, and sophomore Niema Eaves. Krumholz' 25:06 was good for 46th place, while Eaves ran a 25:10 finishing 49th.

The women's cross country team will head to the 2012 Atlantic 10 Championship which will be held in Philadelphia, Pa. on Oct. 27.
