STRANGE CAPTURES THIRD A-10 HONOR

RICHMOND, Va. – Senior libero Rebekah Strange (Avon, Ind.) has been named Atlantic 10 Conference Defensive Player of the Week.

It's Strange's third Defensive Player of the Week honor this season. The senior libero averaged 5.43 digs per set in road wins over La Salle and Duquesne. With those victories, the Rams pushed their win streak to 24 straight.

This season, Strange is tied for the conference lead in digs per set at 4.87. Strange's work on the back row has been one reason why VCU ranks third nationally in opponents hitting percentage (.128).

VCU (27-2) will host Davidson on Saturday, Nov. 11 at 5 p.m. in the Rams' final regular season match of the season.
