RICHMOND, Va. – Atlantic 10 Conference coaches tabbed VCU second in their annual league preseason poll, released Thursday, on the eve of the 2017 season.

The Rams, who finished 19-14 a year ago, including 8-6 in the A-10, collected 84 points and one first-place vote. Reigning champion Dayton grabbed 99 points and were picked first by nine of 10 coaches.
