Jewel Walters, Libero, Williamsburg, Va./Warhill High School
A two-time state champion, Walters will fortify VCU's back row. The Williamsburg native racked up a school-record 1,649 digs for Warhill during her prep career and received three All-Conference, All-Region and First Team All-State honors.

A veteran of both the Venom and Williamsburg Volleyball Clubs, Walters led Warhill to VHSL State 3A Championships in 2014 and 2015. Warhill finished as 3A State runner-up in 2013.

Coach Rogers on Walters:
"Jewel comes in from just down I-64, a home grown talent, and she'll be a tremendous asset to our program and family. Jewel is unbelievably athletic, can play any backcourt position, and has the physical tools to be a top Division I libero. Our back row was the No. 1 passing team in the Atlantic 10 Conference last year, and she's only going to strengthen that unit."

Emma Dixon, MB, Fort Lauderdale, Fla./St. Thomas Aquinas High School
Dixon will join VCU following a decorated high school career as a four-year starter, including the last two as team captain. A two-time First Team All-County pick, Dixon spearheaded St. Thomas Aquinas' march to three straight State Championships (2014-16).

A member of the Tribe Volleyball Club from 2011-16, Dixon qualified for the USAV Junior Nationals a total for five times at various age levels. She is a member of the National Honor Society.

Coach Rogers on Dixon:
"One of Emma's strongest attributes is her high volleyball I.Q. She comes from a winning tradition at the high school and club levels. Her maturity and experience will make for a smooth transition to VCU and enable her to make an immediate impact on and off the court. Emma's track record as a captain will bring that young leadership element to our team, which is huge for the program."

Kalia Robinson, OH, Ridgefield, Wash./Skyview High School
A four-year letterwinner for Skyview High School, Robinson was voted team MVP as a senior last season. Robinson, who also earned a pair of letters in track and field, collected a pair of All-League honors in volleyball.

During her club career, Robinson has racked up an impressive resume. She once captured first place in the 14U Seaside Beach Tournament and qualified for the USAV Beach Nationals. She also owns first place finishes at the Emerald City 18U tournament, as well as at the SCVA Summer Soiree. She is a member of the Oregon Juniors Volleyball Academy.

Coach Rogers on Robinson:
"Kaila comes in with great intangibles. She's a tenacious worker, energy giver, and teammate – all of which will make her an amazing college player. Kaila is selfless, coachable, and has an innate desire to get better; her attitude is one that puts the team first and that's what we love about her. Plus, she's a monster in the weight room!"

Walters, Dixon and Robinson join a VCU squad that finished 19-14 a year ago, including 8-6 in the Atlantic 10 Conference. The Rams will return all six starters, plus libero Rebekah Strange, in 2017.
