RICHMOND, Va. – Head Coach Jon Riley of the VCU Women's Track & Field program has always talked about the importance of being able to score in a variety of ways during the conference season.

It seems that Riley and his staff were able to do just that this past year as seven different Rams in seven different events earned All-CAA accolades, announced by the conference office this week.

As she did all year long, senior Quina Fortune led the way with three First Team honors. She took home top recognition in the 100-meter dash, 200-meter dash and the 4x100 meter relay.

Junior Jazlynn Finney was the other Ram to grab multiple All-CAA honors, earning first team honors in the 4x100 and second team in the long jump.

Juniors Julia Anyaugo (discus) and Samantha Mosley (shot put) and senior Allison Morris (high jump) each earned all-conference recognition in the field events.

Sophomore Dionna Hayes and freshman Niamani Aduma were the other two athletes who were a part of the record-breaking 4x100 effort, which landed them both All-CAA First Team honors.

The seven Rams to earn all-conference recognition is the highest total in over six years for the Black & Gold.
