The short story: VCU earned its seventh consecutive win and ninth overall win of the season after defeating West Virginia

  • The combination of Paola Exposito Diaz-Delgado and Kanako Yano defeated West Virginia's Nicole Roc and Anatasia Bovolskaia to give VCU its first doubles victory of the match
  • Marina Alcaide Bakkari and Sofia Sualehe teamed up to seal the doubles point for VCU after defeating Anna-Sohpie Courteau and Abigail Rosiello of WVU
  • Anna Rasmussen took down Christina Jordan in two sets which kept VCU's momentum going in No. 2 singles
  • Bakkari battled and conquered the No. 2 singles flight, defeating Sofia Duran in two sets to give VCU its third point of the match
  • Diaz-Delgado routed Paula Goetz in No. 1 singles in two sets to seal the victory for the Rams
