  • Pairing tiegther for only their second match, Noumea Witmus and Sofia Sualehe teamed up to defeat Alice Patch and Oyku Boz to earn VCU the doubles point
  • Rasmussen took down Surikova in No. 2 singles in two sets for the first singles point for VCU
  • Kanako Yano defeated Chunan Xiang in two sets, only allowing one game against her
