JERABEK EARNS ALL-STATE HONORS

RICHMOND, Va. – VaSID released their selections for the 2018 All-State Teams with VCU Women's Soccer being honored with one selection. Midfielder Samantha Jerabek was named to the Second Team All-State on Thursday following a strong sophomore campaign.

Jerabek, a native of Chesterfield, Va., flourished in her second year with the Rams, setting career-highs in multiple categories. In 20 games this season, she led VCU in shots (72), shots on goal (33), goals (11), game-winning goals (4), assists (7) and points (29). She also ranked in the top five of the Atlantic 10 in each of those categories.

In addition, she was also named to the Atlantic 10 First Team as well as the Third Team All-East Region for her play this year. Jerabek helped guide the Rams to a program record 16-win season and a berth to their second consecutive A-10 Championship Match in 2018.
