GRAZ, Austria – With a population just over 300,000, Graz is the second-largest city in Austria. Some of those folks may soon be wearing the Black & Gold of Ram Nation.

For the second straight year, a former VCU women's soccer standout has signed a contract with LUV Graz in the OFB Women's League, this time it is Meaghan Dullea, a 2011 graduate. She follows classmate Molly Allen, who played with the team last year.

"Molly was able to tell me some good things about the city and the team to help me adjust quicker. It certainly helps having a few Americans on the team, but overall, it's an exciting and awesome opportunity for me to continue to play the game I love," Dullea said. "I definitely am looking forward to my time here."

Dullea, who spent four years anchoring the Rams' backline, played in 77 games, earning the starting nod 75 times. She scored four goals and tallied four assists during her career. In 2011, Dullea and VCU concluded the season with eight shutouts in its final 11 games, including a run to the CAA Championship match. The nine shutouts on the year were the most in a season since 2007.

Dullea and her new teammates open up the season on Sunday, August 11 against USC Villa.
