  • Saw action in all 21 games, and making 19 starts for the Rams during her junior season.
  • Tallied two assists and two points for VCU
  • Notched her first career point with an assist against Northeastern (9/23/11)
  • Finished the season taking 19 shots, eight of which were on goal
  •  Appeared in 17 games during the 2010 season
  •  Collected 11 shots, four of which were on target
  • Has earned time in 36 contests during her two years with the Rams
  •  In two seasons, she has fired off 25 shots, resulting in 11 shots on goal

 

PRIOR TO VCU:

  • Wilson comes to VCU after an outstanding career for the Yellow Jackets, earning First-Team All-District and First-Team All-Region on three occasions 
  •   Wilson’s athleticism not only gave the opposition’s offense problems, but her defense was just as good. The VCU coaching staff describes her as a relentless defender that will wreak havoc on opponents’ attacking mids
  •  One of the many things that stuck out to the VCU coaching staff about Wilson was her style of play fitting into exactly how VCU women’s soccer will be played. She is describes as a “prototypical VCU player with relentless defensive ability and a ton of athleticism.”

 

GETTING TO KNOW GABBY:

  •  Daughter of Doug and Fabienne Wilson
  •   Majoring in Fashion Design and Merchandising
  • A three-year member of the Robotics Club in high school, she helped her team to 14th place national during her sophomore year and was named Rookie of the Year for her efforts.
