WHILE AT VCU:
· Started all 18 games in her debut season with the Rams
· Collected five assists this season, four of them coming against three different CAA foes
· Edgcomb made her six shots count with five shots on goal, giving her a .833 shots on goal percentage, the highest SOG percentage on the team for game starters

WHILE AT VILLANOVA:
· Battled injuries in the start of 2009, but played in 13 games for the Wildcats, starting 11 of those contests
· Helped the Wildcats earn an NCAA Tournament berth and capture 11 wins in a tough Big EAST
· Starter on the back line which helped post six shutouts during her time on the pitch for Villanova

PRIOR TO COLLEGE:
· Served as her team captain at Princeton High School, earning MVP honors in 2005, 2006 and 2008
· Three-time Mercer 33/All-County selection
· Named a `Top 20' player in the region as a junior and senior.
· Played for the Montclair and FC Bucks club teams
· Region 1 league finalists for Montclair in 2007 as well as a regional tournament semifinalist
· Advanced to national championship with FC Bucks in 2008 and 2009
· Team was ranked in the top five in the nation both years
· Member of the ODP regional pool in 2007 and 2008 and the Inter-Regional in 2007 and 2009
· Was a key member of the Colegio Alovrada's to the Copa Guarana Antartica Championship
· Started on teams that won U-16 national championship and was a U-17 national finalist

GETTING TO KNOW CARLY:
· Youngest of three children of Paul and Jackie Edgcomb. Siblings include Torey (23) and Lindsey (21).
· Both siblings played collegiate sports at Vanderbilt and Franklin & Marshall, respectively, while father was a student-athlete at Lafayette
· Plans to be a Creative Writing major and hopes to become a writer
