The Short Story: The VCU Men's Cross Country team was once again led by freshman Bryce Catlett at the Atlantic 10 Cross Country Championships at Pole Green Park in Mechanicsville, Va.  The Rams ran their way as a team to a 13th place finish.

THE FINISH LINE

  • Bryce Catlett led the way for the Rams for the fourth time this season, crossing the line in 26:35.3 to secure 82nd.  
  • Bismillah Alidost finished with Catlett, placing 84th with a time of 26:36.6.
  • Freshman Lucas Sidle ran to a 98th-place finish, crossing the line in 27:05.6.
  • Brandon Wells, one of three freshman in the top five, placed 107th with a time of 27:33.0.
  • Austin Conway finished not far behind Wells in 109th, crossing the line in 27:44.0.
  • Rounding out the Ram contingent were Calvin Wood and Michael Villagomez, crossing the line in 28:17.7 and 29:51.6, respectively.
  • The Rams' scoring five averaged 27:07 over the 5-mile course.
