INIGO TORRE MARTIN ADVANCES TO SINGLES ROUND OF 16 AS LAST RAM STANDING IN BRACKET

BLACKSBURG, Va. – Day three of the ITA Atlantic Regional Championships has concluded. The day was highlighted by Inigo Torre Martin reaching the Singles Round of 16.

Martin earned a bye in the Round of 128 and followed it up with two victories in the Rounds of 64 and 32. He defeated both Eddie Ayers of George Mason and Ammar Alhogbani of UVA in two sets.

After winning in the Round of 128, Javier Amantegui came up just short in the Round of 64 to Mark Wallner of Temple. Inaki Rivero Crespo found a victory in his consolation match against Chris Carrao of Duquesne.

The tournament will continue on Sunday as the Singles Round of 16, Singles Quarterfinals and Doubles Semifinals are set to be played.
