LOCKABY SIGNS PRO CONTRACT WITH RICHMOND KICKERS

RICHMOND, Va. – VCU Men's Soccer senior midfielder Eli Lockaby has signed with the Richmond Kickers, announced by the team Friday.

The Richmond Kickers are set to play in the inaugural season of USL League One this year. It finished with an overall record of 6-24-4 last season in the Eastern Conference of the USL. 

Lockaby scored one goal and logged three assists in his senior season, leading the Rams to an Atlantic 10 Regular Season Title and the No. 1 overall seed in the A-10 Tournament.

Throughout his four years with the Black & Gold, Lockaby scored on two occasions and assisted on 12 goals. He was named to the Atlantic 10 All-Academic team in both his junior and senior seasons. Throughout his collegiate career, Lockaby spent time with the Orlando City U23s and the Des Moines Menace in USL League Two.
