FATTON NAMED A-10 OFFENSIVE PLAYER OF THE WEEK

RICHMOND, Va. – Redshirt Junior Luc Fatton of the Men's Soccer team has been named the Atlantic-10 Offensive Player of the Week, as announced by the conference office Monday afternoon.

Fatton spun a brilliant hat trick in six minutes of play last Tuesday in a 5-1 win against Old Dominion at Sports Backers Stadium. The Rams used the performance to finish with a solid victory and tie on the week.

Thanks to the goals, Fatton is tied for the team lead in that category with teammate Rafael Andrade Santos. The Charlottesville native looks to add to that total this Tuesday night in the Rams matchup on the road against the Akron Zips.

The other award winners were Greg O'Connell of Saint Joseph's, who won Defensive Player of the Week, while both Tunde Akinlosotu of George Mason and Jallah Acqui of Duquesne were selected as Co-Rookies of the Week.
