LIMITED SPOTS REMAIN FOR UPCOMING RAMS SOCCER CAMP

RICHMOND, Va. – The chance to perform and receive instruction from some of the best college soccer coaches in the country is right at your finger tips.

However, those chances are filling up quickly as less than 20 spots remain for the upcoming Rams Soccer Camp, hosted by the VCU Men's Soccer coaching staff led by Dave Giffard.

The College Prep Camp, which will take place on July 29-31 at VCU's Sports Backers Stadium, is a three-day event that is designed for advanced player development and exposure to some of the nation's top college coaches.

"It's three days for these kids to be seen by coaches that might not see them otherwise," Giffard said. "There are three players from our roster this fall that we originally saw at last year's camp. Not only do players get the opportunity to show their skills, but they also get instruction from some of the nation's top coaches."

The VCU Soccer Staff believes that "the game is the best teacher." The same philosophy will be applied at camp. The focus of all activities will be learning through play.

Enrollment in the camp will be extremely limited to allow individual attention for each player from the staff of college coaches. A combination of small sided and full 11 vs. 11 games will be at the core of the camp curriculum.
