WASHINGTON, D.C. – Two great wing players from the DC Area will be on the court together this weekend.
Reigning NBA MVP Kevin Durant and rising senior Treveon Graham of the VCU Men's Basketball team will be working together as part of this weekend's Kevin Durant Skills Academy.
Graham was selected among a group of the nation's top 15 collegiate and top 30 high school wings. In it's fourth year of existence, the Kevin Durant Skills Academy is a two and half day camp in the nation's capital.
Graham earned an invitation after earning First Team Atlantic 10, First Team All-Region and First Team All-State accolades this past year. He scored in double-figures in 32 of VCU's 35 games this season, leading the team with 15.8 points per game.
His 553 points this year were tied for the 10th-most in a single-season in VCU history. Graham also ranked second on the team with 7.0 rebounds per night.
Last summer, Graham was a part of the USA Basketball World University Games as well as a participant at the Chris Paul Point Guard Academy last August.
