RAMS SET TO HOST BLACK & GOLD GAME ON SUNDAY, OCT. 13TH

RICHMOND, Va. – Coming off a 27-win season and a third straight NCAA Tournament appearance, the VCU Men's Basketball team will host the Black & Gold game, an instraquad scrimmage, on Sunday, October 13 at the Verizon Wireless Arena.

The Black & Gold game is free and open to the public. The scrimmage will consist of two twenty-minute halves with a ten-minute halftime show.

Gates open at 5 p.m. with a welcome from VCU Men's Basketball Coach Shaka Smart outside at the east entrance of the arena. Fans are encouraged to arrive early; seating is first-come, first-serve.

Coach Smart will introduce the team minutes before tip-off at 6 p.m. Performances include VCU's pep band "The Peppas", VCU Cheer Squad and the Gold Rush Dancers.

Current Junior Rowdy Ram Kids Club members will have the opportunity to receive autographs from the team immediately after the scrimmage.
