RAMS TO FACE AGAINST CAVALIERS ON ESPN2 AS PART OF TIP-OFF MARATHON

RICHMOND, Va. – Already billed as one of the most highly anticipated college basketball games in the Commonwealth of Virginia in recent years, the Nov. 12 matchup between VCU and Virginia just took on even more excitement.

The Rams and Cavaliers will do battle in front of a national audience with ESPN2 televising the showdown. Game time in Charlottesville is set for 7 p.m. The contest will be a part of ESPN's 24-Hour Tip-Off Marathon.

It will be the first meeting between the two schools since 1998-99.

VCU returns six from a squad that went 27-9 last year and made its third straight appearance in the Round of 32 at the NCAA Tournament.

Single-game tickets for the match-up are not available yet.
