> VCU returns home looking to extend its winning streak to 12 games when it hosts Preseason A10 favorite Saint Joseph's in a nationally televised contest. The Rams' current 11-game winning streak is tied for the third-longest active streak in the country behind Kansas and Utah State.
> For the first time since 1984-85, VCU will be sporting an AP Top-25 ranking after the Rams were slotted 22nd in this week's poll. It marks the second straight week that VCU was in the ESPN/USA Today Coaches poll with the Black & Gold moving up from 24th to 19th this week.
> During its current 11-game winning streak, VCU has outscored its opposition by an average of 24.3 ppg (82.0-59.3). The Rams have forced nearly double the amount of turnovers it has given up during that stretch (137 to 260), which has led to 164 more field-goal attempts.
> VCU's current winning streak marks the second straight year that the Rams have posted double-digit win streaks. Prior to last year, it hadn't been done since the 1984-85 campaign. The current streak marks the ninth time in program history that VCU has won 10 or more consecutive games.
> This is the third all-time meeting between the two schools, with both programs picking up a win in the series. The last meeting game during the 1982-83 season with VCU picking up a 75-64 on Dec. 4, 1982 at the Richmond Coliseum.
> Sophomore Treveon Graham continued his breakout season in Saturday's win at St. Bonaventure, scoring 13 of his team-high 17 points in the second half. Graham has now scored in double-figures in 10 consecutive games and 15 of 17 overall. The Bowie, Md. native leads the squad with 15.5 ppg, in addition to grabbing 5.5 rebounds per night.
> VCU enters this week with national leaders on both sides of the court. Senior Troy Daniels leads the country with 4.1 three-pointers per night, while sophomore Briante Weber tops the steals per game chart with 3.6 per night.
> In Saturday's win at St. Bonaventure, VCU shot over 50 percent from the field for the third time in the past six games. The Rams shot 50 percent or better three times during the entire 2011-12 season. Overall, the Black & Gold have shot 50 percent five times this season, they are 5-0 in those contests.
> The Verizon Wireless Arena at the Stuart C. Siegel Center boasts quite a home-court advantage for the Black & Gold with VCU compiling a 172-28 (.860)
record during the 13-year history of the building. The .860 winning percentage ranks as the 11th-best mark in the country in active home arenas.
> With an expected sellout for tonight's game, VCU's consecutive sellout streak will extend to 29, the fifth-longest active streak in the country. Duke, Kansas, Michigan State and Gonzaga are the only schools with longer active streaks.
