AS A SOPHOMORE (2011-12):
The Basics:
· Played in all 36 of the Rams’
contest making starts in 33 of those games.
· Finished the year with averages of 3.2
points and 3.9 rebounds per game.
Highlights:
· Recorded his first career double-double
against Towson on Feb. 8. He set career highs in points (10) and
rebounds (11) and hit 5-of-9 from the field that night.
· Pulled in seven boards in the Rams’
second round game of the NCAA Tournament against Wichita State.
· Picked up eight rebounds in two games last
season and seven in two others.

final 12 games and averaged 3.1 points and 2.2 rebounds.
· Had a huge performance in VCU’s
94-76 upset of Purdue in the Round of 32, including six points and
three rebounds against All-American JaJuan Johnson.
· Shot 67 percent from the field (16-for-24)
over the final 15 games
PRIOR TO VCU:
· Intelligent on and off the court.
Recorded a 4.0 high school GPA and has aspirations of becoming an
engineer.
· Nominated to play in the McDonald’s
All-America game after an outstanding senior year.
· Averaged 12 points, 10 rebounds and four
blocks per game for the Falcons during his senior year.
· Praised for his knack for cleaning up the
glass and causing major issues for opponents with his shot-blocking
ability.
