PRIOR TO VCU:
· Played in three straight VHSL AAA State Tournaments, including two appearances in the championship game, played at the Siegel Center. (2007, 2009)
· After posting an average of 17 points and six rebounds during his senior campaign, Daniels earned Virginia High School Coaches’ Association AAA First-Team All-State honors for the Colonels.
· During his senior year, he was named Northwest Region Player of the Year and the Roanoke Times Player of the Year
· Daniels made his trips to the charity stripe count, knocking down over 85 percent of his free throws during his senior season
· Rivals.com rated him a three-star prospect and among the best shooters in the state of Virginia, while Scout.com had him ranked as the 35th-best shooting guard in the country.
