VEAL NOT RETURNING TO VCU MEN’S BASKETBALL PROGRAM

RICHMOND, Va. – Rising senior Toby Veal has decided to leave the Virginia Commonwealth University men's basketball team to pursue other opportunities.

"We're very appreciative of Toby's contribution to our program," Head Coach Shaka Smart said. "He is a fine young man and we wish him nothing but the best in the future."

During his junior season with the Rams, Veal played in 30 games, averaging 10 minutes per contest, while chipping in 2.5 points and 2.2 rebounds per contest.
