RICHMOND, Va. – It doesn't matter what time of day or what day of the week it is, Will Wade is always working. Whether in the office or on his computer or on his cell phone, the assistant coach for the Virginia Commonwealth University men's basketball team is constantly trying to make the Rams better.

His hard work on the recruiting trail paid huge dividends for the Black & Gold, landing one of the top mid-major recruiting classes in the country. That was one of the many reasons that Head coach Shaka Smart decided to add "Recruiting Coordinator" to his title.

"I'm pleased to announce that Will be taking the role of the recruiting coordinator on our staff," Smart stated. "Will's organization and attention to detail have been invaluable to our recruiting efforts over the last year and a half."

With Smart and Wade being joined by assistant coaches Mike Jones and Mike Rhoades, the Rams have turned heads on the national recruiting stage and look to continue that trend in the near future.
