TALKING POINTS
  • Senior Rocky Khara remained in the hunt Monday, firing a 3-under 68 maintain his hold on second place and lead charging VCU at the ODU/Outer Banks Collegiate. Khara currently sits at 4-under, tied with Old Dominion's Jamison Randall and two strokes behind Logan Lagodich of Marshall.
  • Behind Khara, the Rams fired the second-lowest combined score of the day (278) to move into fourth place. VCU (+4) is just five strokes off the pace of leader Hartford (-1), which turned in the day's low round (277). Elon (+1) is currently second, followed by Marshall (+2).
  • In addition to Khara, VCU sophomores Adam Ball (70) and Steffen Harm (69) and senior Matt Ball Jr. (71) all registered par or better. It's the first time four Rams have carded par or better in the same round this fall. Adam Ball and Harm are currently tied for 18th.
  •  The tournament concludes with final round play Tuesday morning.
