PLAY THE BEST TO BE THE BEST
VCU regularly faces some of the nation's toughest
competition. The Rams defeated a top-50 team 15 times in 2010,
including five top-25 squads. VCU's ability to play, and beat, the
nation's best helped the Rams secure an at-large bid to the 2010

30 quality golf courses.
TRAVEL IN STYLE
In 2008, VCU purchased a state-of-the-art, Mercedes Limousine Van
to exclusively fulfill the travel requirements of the Rams'

PRACTICE MAKES PERFECT
VCU has the luxury of a nearby practice facility, with a precision
targeting system, just three minutes away.
RAIN OR SHINE
The Rams will join a select group of schools this summer with the
completion of their indoor practice facility.
UNPARALELLED INSTRUCTION
In 11 seasons, Matt
Ball boasts four Colonial Athletic Association
Championships and five NCAA Appearances.
Nationwide Tour pro Ted Brown, who played for the Rams from 1999-2003, serves as an assistant coach. Brown was recently named to the CAA's Silver Anniversary Team.
The Rams are also pleased to have access to the services of renowned Mental Coach Dr. Bob Winters. A former collegiate and professional golfer, Dr. Winters is one of the preeminent sports psychologists in the world.
FIT TO WIN
VCU utilizes a
world-class, golf-specific fitness program, supported by Randy
Myers and administered by strength coach Ryan Horn.
SUPPORT
In addition to outstanding local support, the Rams have been
outfitted with top-of-the-line equipment by industry leaders
Cleveland, Srixon, Golf Pride and Nike.
RICHMOND
VCU's vibrant urban campus is located in historic
Richmond, Va. Located between a bustling downtown, lively
Carytown and the scenic Fan District, there's always plenty
to do. A number of museums, as well as picturesque Monument Avenue
are within walking distance, and there's no shortage of
unique shops and restaurants.
