RICHMOND, Va. – Emily McNamara has been named the Atlantic 10 Field Hockey Player of the Week for the fourth time this season.

McNamara scored two goals in VCU's 3-1 win over No. 14 Wake Forest on Sunday. Her first goal came in just the 2nd minute of the game when she dribbled around Wake's keeper and shot into an open goal. The second goal came in the 52nd minute when McNamara was able to beat the keeper again, this time in a one-on-one situation, before scoring on a shot to the near post.

With her two goals on Sunday, McNamara also broke the school record for goals in a season with 22, which she set last season (21).

The Rams have now won three consecutive matches on their way to a 10-6 overall record with a 6-1 record in A-10 play. VCU will be back in action at 5:30 p.m. this Friday, Oct. 26, when they travel to Davidson, N.C. to take on Davidson in their regular season finale.
