RICHMOND, Va. – VCU Baseball had to make some changes to their Feb. 22-24 weekend schedule due to inclement weather. The Rams will now play in a double header on Sunday, as they face Pitt at 11 a.m. and S.C. Upstate at 3 p.m. Originally, VCU was slated to take on Radford on Feb. 22 at noon, but that game has since been canceled.
Pitt is off to a 1-3 start this season, with their lone win coming against Villanova. S.C. Upstate has started the season 2-2, with 4-3 and 6-4 wins over Kansas respectively.
VCU currently sits at 2-2 on the season, and is coming off a 13-3 win over Wofford in their most recent contest. The Rams totals 18 hits and 15 strikeouts in the victory.
Further updates to the weekend schedule will be announced as the information becomes available.
