  • Concepcion's first appearance for the Rams came out of the bullpen on Feb. 14, when the junior totaled 4.0 innings of shutout ball to earn the win.
  • His first start came on Feb. 19 against Old Dominion. Concepcion finished the day with 5.0 innings of work, allowing two earned, striking out two Monarchs in a no decision.
  • Struckout a career high seven batters in a start against East Carolina on Feb. 25. Concepcion went 6.2 innings of shutout ball, allowing just three hits, to pickup his second win.


  • Concepcion helped lead Connors State to a Conference Championship, Region II Championship, South Central District Championship and a fifth place finish at the JUCO World Series
  • Finished with a team high in innings pitched, strikeouts, complete games and ERA in 2013
  • Helped Connors State to a second place finish in Region II during the 2012 season


  • Played four years of baseball at Puerto Rico Baseball Academy and High School in Puerto Rico
  • Helped his high school team to the the Colt World Series Championship his junior year and the American Legion title his senior season
